My StoryIn 2012 after fulfilling my call as co-founder and CEO of a local non-profit for over 20 years, where I served men, women, and families who were struggling with addictions and were homeless, and trying our hand at Ora Lee’s Restaurant, I have established LegacyOne, Inc. This business has a very special personal meaning to me as it is all about Family Legacy, and was born out of my faith in the promises of God, and particularly Proverbs 13:22, that states “A good man (or woman) leaves an inheritance to his (or her) children’s children”… It is my dream that I will do just that, leave in inheritance for my children and children’s children. |

In 2012, I went to Real Estate School and received my real estate license, I then worked under a few brokerages to continue to learn more about being in the for-profit real estate world. In 2015 I established LegacyOne, Inc. and launched my own real estate company, and then in June of 2017 expanded the business into the construction arena, with the help of one of my sons, Matthew. Also, in 2017 I returned to college to complete my degree in Business Administration, a degree program that I began when my children were very young. In May of 2018 I will have earned that elusive degree.
My husband and I will celebrate 41 years of marriage in 2018, we have 7 children between us and 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. My family has been at the heart of everything that I have done in life. I love spending as much time with them as possible. Even though we are all very busy we do manage to all spend about 1.5 weeks of vacation time together each summer.
After my love for God and my family, I have a deep concern and care for my community and continue to serve as a servant-leader in various capacities.
Success to me is being blessed to do what you’re passionate about. I have been blessed enough since 1988 working doing what I love. My philosophy about passion is that you get to do what you love to do and would do it even if you were not being paid for it.
I am a huge believer in encouraging entrepreneurship opportunities, and I am a serial entrepreneur. One of my missions in life is to encourage young people who have an entrepreneurial spirit to not be afraid of failing, put one foot in front of the other and see where God will lead.
